NCPI is dedicated to the study and collection of evidence that would support the existence of the paranormal, using scientific methods, research, and witness testimony. It is our belief that if someone asks for help, they should receive it. We wish to help anyone who believes that they may be experiencing paranormal phenomenon. Our goal is to provide education and assistance to others while gathering information that will further our research efforts. Through our examination of the paranormal we hope to provide the means to a better understanding of the unknown.

Founder / Lead Investigator

Julie
Julie began her research at a very early age. She realized that there were things going on in day-to-day life that could not be easily explained. Unlike most people that just dismiss things succumbing to explanations that there are no such things as ghosts or other entities; she decided that sometimes the situations warranted more interest and investigation.
T
hrough diligent research and careful, controlled investigating, Julie became proficient in "noticing" some of the things that people very often would dismiss. Julie began experimenting with various techniques and equipment. She would try to reproduce interesting images captured on film knowing what they were to begin with. She soon was able to, with a high degree of certainty; distinguish between things that naturally occurred and things that even she couldn't explain.
J
ulie continues her work, now partnered with her husband, by investigating private residences, businesses, cemeteries, historical significant places, and folklore.

Investigator

Marty
Marty is one of our investigators out of the Wilmington area. She has experienced the paranormal on numerous occasions. At one time she owned a house in Ogden, NC just outside of Wilmington that had tremendous activity. She often would see a small light dance around her bedroom at night. It occurred so frequent that she actually named it "Tinkerbell". Marty has also seen the Maco light better known as Joe Baldwin’s light.

In this picture we were testing Marty's digital camera to see how it photographed cigarette smoke. We had gotten a picture of what appeared to be daytime ecto.We still are not sure because even though she was not smoking at the time we could not prove or disprove anything.

Investigator

Robert
Robert acts as our Logistics Manager / Safety Coordinator and has worked in Emergency Medical Services for over ten years. Robert also has experience in providing private security services. Robert scouts the investigation area and determines the safest means of navigation for the team and the surroundings. He ensures that homes and property are safe from potential, accidental damage that may be caused by team members and/or equipment placement and briefs the team accordingly.

Researcher/Investigator

Christine
Christine can find information on practically anyone or anything. Knowing that physical evidence is very hard to come by in these types of investigations, it is nice to have someone as helpful as she is to track down the historical evidence. She has had several unexplained experiences that led to her interest in the paranormal.
